The core of CDTL’s new chassis architecture system solution, featuring distributed drive and EMB braking, is the decentralization of technology—replacing the traditional engine, transmission, load-bearing components, and braking components with a more integrated and functionally broader distributed drive and EMB system for control, actuation, and braking. As the optimal combination, distributed drive provides more safety redundancy paths for EMB braking, while its overall integrated and fully drive-by-wire design gives the chassis design greater flexibility and performance optimization space. This innovative combination holds the promise of enabling true Level 4 and above autonomous driving in the future, propelling the field of intelligent transportation into a new stage.
