On January 22, DeepWay successfully delivered 100 DeepWay Starlight New Energy heavy-duty trucks to STO Express. Previously, STO had already introduced the first batch of 36 of the same model in early 2025, deploying them on core trunk lines in the Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai regions. Based on the reliability and excellent total cost of ownership (TCO) performance demonstrated by the first batch of vehicles in actual use, STO decided to expand the scale of this cooperation.

To date, STO Express has introduced over 130 STO Star heavy-duty trucks, all equipped with CDTL distributed electric drive axles. This milestone marks the official entry of distributed drive technology into the large-scale application stage in the express delivery trunk logistics field.

As cost reduction and efficiency improvement become the lifeline of the logistics industry, the choice of drive technology determines the boundaries of competitiveness. Based on its understanding of the “ultimate energy efficiency” and “all-time service” scenarios of long-haul transportation, CDTL has developed a distributed drive system specifically designed for efficient logistics, aiming to ensure that the fleet always has excellent power and driving stability during operation.

As the core powertrain of the vehicle, the CDTL EA5000N distributed electric drive axle demonstrates remarkable performance in long-haul logistics scenarios. Real-world testing data shows that the vehicle consumes less than 1 kWh per kilometer during full-load long-haul operation, redefining industry energy efficiency standards. Thanks to its lightweight and highly integrated design, the EA5000N distributed electric drive axle is 100-200 kg lighter than comparable products. Under the same gross weight conditions, it helps logistics fleets increase effective cargo space and extend driving range.

In terms of performance, the dual motors work together to output a peak torque of up to 51480 N·m, delivering strong power. Combined with the unique dual-redundancy system characteristics, it achieves uninterrupted power during gear shifts, significantly improving driving smoothness and safety.

Beyond technology, CDTL has also built a proactive service support system covering the entire lifecycle. Through 24/7 rapid response, a dedicated green channel for spare parts, and over 100 service stations nationwide, it provides support for the high-frequency operations of logistics fleets.

We firmly believe that scenarios define products. CDTL goes beyond providing standardized components; it strives to become a deep collaborative partner with vehicle manufacturers—offering customized system solutions based on real-world operating conditions to achieve the optimal balance between reliability, power, economy, and safety.

Driven by core technologies, CDTL looks forward to collaborating with more industry partners to jointly propel long-haul logistics towards a more efficient, safer, and sustainable future.
