On August 1st, Ding Aijun, General Manager of CATL South China Region, and Qiao Pengfei, Head of Regional Zero-Carbon Ecosystem, visited CATL Electric to conduct research and exchange on ecological collaboration in the field of zero-carbon transportation. Luo Xunqiang, Chairman of CATL Electric, Cao Hongqiang, Director of Major Accounts, and others warmly received and accompanied the research team.

“CATL is not only a battery component manufacturer, but also a system solution provider, and is committed to becoming a zero-carbon technology company.” Previously, CATL, together with the China Transportation Association, held the “New Generation Heavy Truck Battery Swapping Ecosystem Launch Event” in Datong, Shanxi, announcing its goal of building an “eight horizontal and ten vertical” green network for battery swapping covering 80% of the country’s trunk transportation capacity by 2030, and promoting the electrification of heavy trucks to exceed 50% market penetration within three years, thereby driving the development of a global zero-carbon economy with zero-carbon technology.
