On April 21, 2025, DeepWay, a deep partner of CDTL, and STO Express held a grand delivery ceremony in Shanghai for the first batch of new energy heavy-duty trucks. This delivery marks the first time new energy heavy-duty trucks have been delivered in the national express delivery industry, signifying a milestone.

The first batch of new energy heavy trucks delivered this time are all equipped with CDTL’s independently developed distributed drive system, which achieves an ultra-low energy consumption of 1.15 kWh/km and ensures the vehicle’s long range, effectively covering high-frequency medium and long-distance transportation between cities.

The CDTL distributed electric drive axle EA5000N adopts a dual-motor distributed architecture and integrates advanced shift control strategies, ensuring no power interruption during gear shifts. It boasts strong power output, with a single axle output torque of up to 51480 N·m, making it highly suitable for 4×2 heavy-duty truck transportation scenarios. The entire axle features an integrated design, possessing the smallest X-axis dimension among similar products nationwide. Its symmetrical front-to-rear layout occupies less space, providing ample room for expanding the vehicle’s range.

As a key supplier of core components for new energy commercial vehicles in China, this delivery fully verifies the reliable applicability of distributed drive technology in express delivery scenarios and provides a valuable practical model for the application of zero-carbon transportation in the logistics industry.
Looking ahead, CDTL will continue to focus on the underlying technologies of new energy vehicles, deepen collaborative technological innovation, and strive to enhance its capabilities to contribute more to the widespread application and comprehensive popularization of new energy heavy-duty trucks in the long-haul logistics sector.
